Seems everyone's favorite player is in hot water again. Can't really say I'm surprised. Lies have a way biting us in the ass. Barroids has been indicted on four counts of perjury and one count of obstruction of justice. The maximum jail time Bonds could face is up to 30 years. I sincerely doubt he'll serve any time. His team of lawyers will no doubt come up with an effective defense in order to spare Barry jail time. When it comes to entertainers, sports figures and millionaires, buying your freedom is as easy as 1-2-3, no matter the guilt...i.e., Simpson, Jackson, Bryant, Blake, to name a few.As a Giants Hater, this may sound like treason, but I really think baseball and the Feds are scapegoating Barriods. Sure, I dislike the dude immensely, however, there are many other ballplayers who have not only perjured themselves, but also tested positive for steroids, which is something they have not been able to bust Bonds for.
Ack, I don't wanna talk about this melonhead anymore!
